Another of the cards that I made at my demo day on Sunday at The Craft Box.
I cut a panel out of the front of the card and filled it with Sorbet Souffle flowers. They are just linked together, glued just at the petal points with a butterfly message in the middle of them all. Card Candy in the centres and a ribbon tied around the top panel of the card. Its a mixture of Richie and Suzie products.
This is another card I made a month or so ago, not sure if I have shared it before, sorry if I have. Its panels of Richie and Suzie with Card Candy accents. The Lots of Dots Daisies have had their petals clipped with a small circle punch and it gives them a totally different look.
Enjoy!

More cards
Here are another couple of cards from my demo at the weekend.
Using Sorbet Souffle Lots of dots papers for the background. Lots of Dots Scallops scored, folded and concertina them to create flowers (shown to me by my good friend Dawn) with a Sassy Stems saying. Lots of Dots Scallop with In Circle message in centre. Card Candy in each corner and centre of flower, covered in Stardust glitter glue.
Card covered in Lots of Dots paper and Elegantly Embossed cardstock which has been coloured using Versa Magic Aloe Vera ink pad. Colour edges of butterfly to match. Layer new flower ovals onto scallop oval. Finish with Card Candy in corners - white ones have been coloured using the same ink pad as Elegantly Embossed cardstock. Ovals will be available on Craftwork Cards website very soon!
Enjoy!

Super Sunday
Had a fabulous day with Lynn, Gill and all the ladies that visited The Craft Box yesterday for my demo day.
I always get so spoilt when I go there and yesterday was no exception. A gorgeous prawn salad for lunch followed by lemon meringue pie and cream - makes me feel hungry just thinking about it.
When I left I was presented with a fabulous sweetie cake!

I have never seen one like this before and its wonderful. Owen and I love what we call rubbish sweets - so this is heaven for us!! He was dying to tuck in last night when I finally got home just after 9pm after a terrible journey home. Sitting stationery for half an hour due to an accident and the most awful rain that even the fastest speed on the windscreen wipers couldnt cope with - fog lights on and the visibility was terrible. What did I expect it is July and the height of our Summer!
Anyway had a great time showing the ladies lots of different card ideas with Lots of Dots in Richie and Suzie colours, Best of British, Elegantly Embossed and a few other new bits that will be on the website very soon!
Lynda popped in to see me, she had been on my workshop the day before at Leeds which was also really greatm got to meet some really lovely new ladies and catch up with old friends too. Lynda had made some stunnging cards using some of the new bits she bought the day before. I will post these on Craftwork Cards blog later this week, be sure to go have a look because they are gorgeous.
Here are some cards that I made, more to follow throughout the week. Thank you to everyone that came, I hope you had as good a day as I did.

I also have to say a huge, huge THANK YOU to Gill and Lynn for my early Birthday present that they insisted I opened.
Look what was inside .....

Not all of you may know but I have a little soft spot for a certain James Toseland who is a motorbike racer - ok a large soft spot.
Im actually going with Merv to Donnington Park Race Track on Thursday for Day of Champions where you can get up close and meet the stars and they are there to sign autographs etc. James and his band Crash will be playing throughout the day and then there is a really brilliant auction where all the money goes to Riders for Health. We went last year and had a great time and I did try and bid for a picture of James but some one else bid more.
Gill and LynnThank you so much I know how much trouble you went to to get this for me and I really do appreciate it. They had 3 pictures to choose from but Gill picked this one because she wanted to decorate the frame and knew I love all things lilac/purple and she thought the flowers would go best with James orange on his leathers! It is a very young JT but he is as lovely as ever!
It has pride of place on my wall beside my computer with all the other pictures.

Elegantly Embossed
I love the new Elegantly Embossed 8x8 Cardstock from Craftwork Cards - being 8x8 its so so versatile. You can use it for bigger 8x8 cards covering the front completely, cover the front of a big square card and even turn it into cards - DL size or C6 (size 2).
Yesterday evening I started a Wedding Album for Carla and Brendon - its work in progress but I will show you it soon. I have covered the front, back and insides using the embossed cardstock and it looks gorgeous. I want to leave it white and highlight it with glitter glue, add ribbons, lots of flowers, crystals and then add their names and hopefully the date too.
I love the fact that you can leave the embossed cardstock white and just add some sparkle with the glitter glue or you can completely change the colour using chalks or ink pads. I always use a chalk ink pad, Versa Magic or Fluid Chalk - both work beautifully. When my ink pads are new I have found that using finger daubers helps to apply small amounts of colour.
Here is a card where I have coloured the embossed cardstock using Versa Magic ink pad. I also used White Card Candy and coloured that using the same ink pad so that everything matched.
This card has been coloured using chalks - much softer more subtle colours.
Lastly a card made from the embossed cardstock, scored and folded to make a DL size card. Decorated with stem sayings, flowers, borders. All from, you guessed it - Craftwork Cards!
Off to Leeds early in the morning for a workshop on Saturday and then I will be demonstrating at The Craft Box at Elsecar Hertitage Centre, Elsecar, South Yorkshire S74 8HJ from 10.30am through to 3:30pm. If you are in the area do pop in and say hi and see some gorgeous new goodies!
Have a great weekend and hope the sun shines for you.

AWOL - Sorry!
Is it really 13 days since I last posted! The time does fly when you are having fun!
Had a lovely workshop at The Glitter Pot on Friday, lovely group of ladies as ever, used the Sorbet Souffle in the morning and they we created our own range of cupcakes in the afternoon. Sorry but I forgot to take pictures!
Here is a card I made using Craftwork Cards gorgeous new 8x8 embossed cardstock cut into squares to create a background accented with stamped flowers from Kay Carley's stamps that I bought recently.
Kay taught me some tricks with the Copics and I have stamped onto Craftwork Cards Silver Ice pearlised card and I have to say I love the results. The embossed papers come in 5 different designs, 2 sheets of each design in a pack for just £3.75 - a bargain! The designs are: little dots, daisies (of course), paisley, large dots and swirls. They look stunning left white and highlighted with glitter glue or colour them with chalks, ink pads, specialist paints and mists.
At the weekend we went up to London to Carla and Brendon's engagement party. Carla is our niece and they are getting married in May next year and Im helping Carla to make her wedding invitations - only helping not making them all!
Anyway they had a picnic in a local park up in London and it was really lovely except for a bit of rain. There were family and some of their close friends there. Had a lovely time, played some silly games which was a great ice breaker and got everything mixing together.
Owen had a brilliant time, Brendon is a music producer and a friend has just signed a deal with a record company and been recording his first album. Owen has been writing songs recently and he took them along for Brendon to see. I love this picture - I forget how grown up he is now and it was so lovely to watch him talking to Brendon and friends about his songs and the music he likes.

Brendon's Dad was taking pictures which I didnt realise at the time, but he took one of me and I can actually say I like the picture, now this does not happen often if ever at all actually!
Off to Leeds for a workshop at the weekend, still a few spaces available call 0113 276 5713 if you would like to book a seat and then staying over and at The Craft Box at Elsecar Heritage Centre, Elsecar, South Yorkshire S74 8HJ on Sunday 19th July for a demo from 10.30am - 3:30pm. Looking forward to seeing everyone again, if you havent been before pop along its a lovely shop and I will be demonstrating with Craftwork Cards gorgeous products.

It's so hot!!!
It is so so hot today, even hotter than yesterday and Surrey was the warmest place in the UK yesterday.
Its been ages since I last posted Im been busy with projects that I cant share just yet, soon but not today.
I will be demonstrating lots of gorgeous new goodies from Craftwork Cards at the weekend at Art Stamp show at Newbury racecourse. Its sure to be a beautiful weekend - it always is at this show.
Our stand is in a different position this year, so if you are coming to the show come and say hello and let me show you what I have made with all the lovely bits. When you come into the show turn left all the way to the end of the first isle, turn right and we are on the second isle on the right hand side.
I had a lovely workshop at the weekend, smaller than normal but it was really nice to get a chance to speak to people a bit more. The ladies loved the cards, this is one of them.
I was lucky enough to have been given a present from Anne, a big bag of home grown courgette's. So last night Merv cooked a Courgette and Blue Cheese Tortilla, using my all time favourite blue cheese, Cashel, which was delicious.
We ate it down the garden in the evening sun straight out of the frying pan - really lovely and only a pan to wash up! Forgot to take a picture before we started eating it! Anyway thanks ever so Anne and Ken the courgettes were scrummy!
