Blog Hopping!

Thanks to Theresa for kicking off our Create a Wreath Blog Hop between our USA blog and our UK blog.

Over the next week you are going to see inspiration from both sides of the pond!  Each day we will feature 2 USA Design Team members and 2 Design Team members from the UK, hopping between each blog.

Leave a comment on the blog posts and you will be in with a chance of winning a Create a Wreath kit just for you!  Each day the USA Design Team members will pick a winner and the UK Design Team members will pick a winner - so everyone in the USA has 2 chances and everyone in the UK has 2 chances to win each day!

At the end of the week Theresa will pick a winner from all the USA comments left and I will pick a winner from all the UK comments left and they will receive one of each of the Create a Wreath Kits!

So if you have not seen our Create a Wreath Kits before, there are 6 different ones to choose from ....

The kits contain enough elements to make 2 wreaths, everything is die cut so no cutting out, you just have to add the glue and some scissors to cut the ribbon.  Simply cover the chipboard rings or hearts with the die cut paper, add the ribbon ties, curl and shape the petals and layer the flowers together.  Attach them to the ring or heart and you are finished and this is what they will look like ...

You can get as creative as you want with the Create a Wreath kits, why not use them with a Candle in the centre, they will look fabulous as a centre piece on your table.

Use the flowers on cards too ...
So be sure to join us for the rest of the week and see what both Design Teams make with our Create a Wreath kits.

If you are in the UK and want to buy a Create a Wreath kit they are available from craft shops on on-line here.

If you would like the chance to win a Create a Wreath kit don't forget to leave a comment on this blog post and each day we will randomly choose a winner and a lovely Create A Wreath Kit will be on its way to you!

Now you need to hop over to the USA Blog and see what Sherri has made!

Enjoy the blog hop!

Tea Dance Project of the Month

Just loving Craftwork Cards latest collection Tea Dance created by our very talented Steph Davies.

Yesterday I spent a lovely afternoon creating cards for the Project of the Month and it is now available on-line, click here to see what you get.
Here are a few of the cards I made ...

I love the mannequins and created a pleated skirt from the pattern paper, tied ribbon at the waist and created  a tiny spiral rose of the top of the dress.  I cut a scallop circle in half and added dots of Liquid Pearls to each scallop and, of course, some glitter glue!  Both are Platinum colours.

Panels of pattern paper cover the background of my card blank.  I cut a tag from embossed Kraft cardstock, punch a circle and added ribbon.  Coloured the edges of the flowers using Tea Dye distress ink pad and a blending tool before layering them together.  I pleated the message band at the base of the card to look like ribbon.

I created a spiral rose for the centre of the layered flower and highlighted the edges of the petals with Platinum glitter glue.

I covered the card blank with panels of pattern paper and wrapped twine around the top section.  I layered the bunting up and added a pennant sentiment.  Twine bows where attached between the bunting and it was all highlighted with glitter glue and liquid pearls.  The message band was also decorated with dots of liquid pearls.

Why not treat yourself to this fabulous kit it will make a great start to the weekend!

You can make at least 20 cards for just £15 and it comes with a FREE Mannequin pad worth £3.95!

Have a lovely weekend whatever you are doing.

My youngest, Owen will be 18 on Wednesday next week and this is the card that I made him using the Not just for Christmas papers ...

And this is for Matthew's birthday which is 3 days later ...

Both were made using little squares of paper and adding a sentiment, another of Paula's stamps.
