I have been making Birthday cards so that I have them ready to send throughout the year.
I recently made a few men's cards using the same papers as I used for Matthew's 21st card. They are some old Basic Grey papers that I bought ages ago.
I like to follow the theme through to the inside of my cards and I add some patterned papers to the envelope too.
Another really simple card, ideal to send to the men in your life.
Decorated inside to match.
So at least I have 3 male cards in my birthday box ready to be sent now.

9th Feb
It's my other boy, Matthew's, 21st Birthday today!
Happy Birthday Matt
Hope you have a great day - even though you are away at college.
Enjoy the concert with Lauren.
Where or where did 21 years go! When I was in hospital before I had Matthew I meet a lady called Yvonne. We both had our babies on 9th February, Yvonne and Steve had Holly a long awaited for baby and Merv and I had Matthew. We became great friends and spent many happy days together with the kids and are still friends today.
This is the card that I made for Matthew.
Decorated inside to match the front.
This is the card I made for Holly - hope you have a great day too.

Mannequin
I really love mannequins, especially wire ones. I really want to buy one and have it displayed in my bedroom.
I used the Rio Romance papers and some of the grey from Grape and Grey or the Romance collection. All the papers and embellishments, flowers, card candy, ribbon and crystals - are from Craftwork Cards.

Final Romance
My last card is a big 8x8 card. Covered in grey Romance paper with an elegant rectangle across the front of the card. Panel of grey paper on the front and then a scallop circle layered on top with crystals at each scallop point.
I covered a large flutterby with paper, attached Card Candy down the centre of the body and adhered to scallop circle.
Add some beautiful butterflies, a message and card candy to finish the design.
Which card or colour combination did you like the best?

Happy Birthday Owen!
First things first:
It's my boys Birthday today, so Happy Birthday Owen.
Where has the time gone, he's 15 today.
Have a fabulous day and I hope you really enjoyed your concert last night.
Right on with my card for today.
I thought a heart felt card was called for today.
I used the grey and hot pink, cut a heart shape from the front of my card, using perfect petal 1 template and then cut several hearts out of card and covered them in patterned papers.
Attach across the front of the card using foam pads. Simple but it works.
Close up of the finer details.
Just one more Romance card to go tomorrow.

Favourite Combo
I was trying to think which is my favourite colour combination of the Romance collection.
I love this one, the grey with the hot pink its really striking.
I covered the card with patterned papers, covered a flower with paper and layered it onto a mini elegant square.
A few beautiful butterflies and some card candy finish the card off nicely.
Im liking the close up of the finer details are you?
Another card for you to feast your eyes on tomorrow - Im doing well with all the postings!

Week 5 - DONE!
I dont believe it! (said in a high pitch voice just like Victor Meldew!).
Week 5 of 2010 and I have managed to post everyday, sometimes twice a day.
I just need to keep this up for the rest of the year.
Wish me luck!
