Let the force be with you

Its not everyday that you bump into Storm Troopers on the way to work! Well thats exactly what happened as Sue and I walked into the NEC on Saturday and I couldnt resist having my picture taken with them (along with alot of other people!)

Wanted to share some of the cards I made at the NEC whilst I was demonstrating there last week at the Hobbycrafts Show.

Todays card is using Glitz N Glamour from Craftwork Cards using one of my favourite card designs - 9 small squares.

I had forgotten about lacing ribbon on my card and really love how this looks.

Up close to see the beautiful Prima rose, notice too how I used white card candy and coloured it with Versa Magic ink pad Malted Mauve. I edged the squares with glitter glue, silver this time to match the foiling on some of the papers.

What do you think?

wow, see my 25th march comment about "mis-leading title-..." this is just stunning! The lacing is so elegant, really links(!!) back to the 21st march Template shape; how do yo do it? Really great- thanks again- Cathy

I think I have to get some of those Prima roses, got to be easier than making them (I do some grungepaper ones, badly, as seen on my blog) but these are easier - and soooo pretty! The ribbon lacing looks great too.
