Butterfly Card 5

This is the final card that I made from the sheet of stamped and coloured paper.

I cut around the wings on one of the butterflies from the piece I had left for this card. Layer a piece of pearlescent card behind it so when I lift the wings you will see this coloured card.

I punched some scallop edges from the same pearlescent cardstock and attached to either side of the stamped panel.

Colour the edges of the card using an inkpad, colour and layer up an In Circle message and attach using foam pads.

Up close shot to show the butterfly details.

Well that all 5 cards - which is your favourite? Leave me a comment and I will publish the results in a weeks time.

I've loved what you've done with this Julie. The backing sheet on it's own is brilliant but the cards are something else. I love them all but I think, for me, #3 just has the edge although it's a difficult choice.

Hi Julie - I too think you saved the best 'til last. Love how you've cut the butterfly wings and put the coloured paper underneath - very effective! So Number 5 gets my vote even though the rest were beautiful too!

Love Lynda xxx

Hi Julie, I have loved all of the cards you made, the stamp and the different shades of blue are lovely, but for me the first card is my favourite - with the silvery highlights and the ribbon it just made it sparkle, and I love sparkle!

I like them all, but number's 5 and 3 if I'm forced to make a choice. I love the butterfly. x
