A few cards for Friday

This card features scallop circle wraps. Attach a wrap to the back of your card, wrap it around to the front and I have used a layered message to hold the wrap closed.

My favourite dotty daisies decorate the front and inside the card I have covered with some Basically Black patterned paper and added a scallop oval to write my message onto.

I love the monochromatic look, but you could easily add just one colour, say deep purple, hot pink, lime green or even orange to give the card a very different look.

I love this card, its so simple yet looks so good. Using a cream scallop edge size 6 card, colour edges with a chalk ink pad (my favourite colour for this is Versa Magic - Gingerbread). Using Graceful Grasses clear stamp set repeat stamp bullrushes all over the front of the card. Cut piece of ribbon to fit across card, tie second piece to it and attach to card with double sided tape. Add a layered message and hightlight bullrushes with glitz glitter glue - tiara.

Again Basically Black patterned papers with Japanese Doll Choko clear stamps. Stamp mini Choko onto scallop oval, colour in. Punch a hole top and bottom and thread with ribbon, attach to card with double sided tape. Stamp and cut out butterflies and add layered message. Highlight card with glitz glitter glue - ruby slippers.

Using It's a Hoot Owl template to trace around and cut out three owls from Yummy Scrummy Coffee & Cream paper pack. Stamp branches from Japanese Doll Akina clear stamp set in brown onto cream scallop edge card. Stamp and cut out flowers and glue to branches.

Add Card Candy for Owls eyes, layer a message and decorate card with glitz glitter glue - tiara.

Lastly, trace around Back2Basics plasma numbers onto back of Yummy Scrummy papers and cut out. Glue to card, decorate with flowers, adding Card Candy to centres. Colour edges of card with pink chalk ink pad. Highlight around edges of numbers with glitz glitter glue - tiara.

Im looking forward to seeing everyone at my workshop in Horley tomorrow.

Have a lovely weekend, enjoy the sunshine.

Brilliant cards Julie, really enjoyed the Horley workshop and being able to make card No. 1. Never thought I could make cards like you, but with the right products and some guidance, managed some really lovely cards, just shows anything is possible!
