Been making ....

Some of this years Christmas Cards and I thought you might like to see what I have made ....

So far I have 4 simple designs, I wanted some traditional coloured one and some contemporary ones too.  This is the first ....

I will only use Craftwork Cards card blanks whenever I make a card and Christmas is no exception.  The quality is second to none and the price is great value for money.  Use fabulous card blanks and you will make fabulous cards!  This card is 148mm x 105mm and comes with white envelopes, click here to buy.

I used a Penny Black tree stamp (3997K) dont know if it is still available and combined it with Paula Pascual's Large Christmas stamps.  A slither of cardstock down the side to really draw your eye to cut out tree shape and some festive ribbon.  Inside a little wording stamp, a punched daisy with Candi in the centre.

My second simple design....

Using Kraft card blanks which I love, love, love!  These are 148mm x 148mm and come with white envelopes, click here to buy.

The papers are from Theresa Collins and a new Tim Holtz Sizzix die Poinsettia flower.  Again a slither of cardstock and a Christmas Sentiment and it is ready to go!  Just cant make up my mind whether to edge the papers with glitter glue?  Edit:  I have added Platinum glitter glue and it looks gorgeous!

I thought I should make the same design but using the Candy Cane glitter pad from Craftwork Cards - it is beautiful and comes with 6 printed designs and then one sheet is fully glittered! Stunning.

My third design has a contemporary feel due to the colour combination that I have used.  If I made this in say red or green or a mixture it would be much more traditional, but I have a reel of turquoise ribbon and I wanted to use it!

This card was super quick and super easy!  Using a Scallop Edge 119mm x 119mm card blank, click here to buy.  I stamped the tree design in turquoise onto the card.  Colour the edges of sentiment using same ink pad, tie ribbon around top and stamp message inside.  I then added dots of Liquid Pearls to embellish the tree and scallops on the card blanks.

I have save the best till last, well I think so!  As I said before I love Kraft card blanks and my last design uses them again and I love the results!  The Kraft card blank is 148mm x 148mm and comes with white envelopes, click here to buy.

I stamped the tree on a white tag, punched the bottom to give a scallop edge and added some turquoise ribbon.  A sentiment and some punched snowflakes with Candi in the centres finishes the card.  I did embellish the tree and tag with liquid pearls. Inside the card is a love stamped sentiment that I have had for years and years.

This is definately my favourite card, which is yours?

Sorry that the pictures are not very good, some were taken at night and some early in the morning. I must try and get better at this.  There you are a New Years resolution and its only November!

Hope you have enjoyed the inspiration and get cracking making your Christmas cards.
