I recently discovered that Lora, who works for Craftwork Cards in Leeds, spells her name Lora and not Laura like I thought.
Lora celebrated her birthday the day after the Great Northern Papercraft Show at Harrogate, so when we were all together on the Sunday I wanted her to open my present to her. A decorated notebook with her name on it - only little did I know that I had spelt it wrong and nobody told me.
So I have remade Lora a decorated notebook, this time spelling her name right. I hope she likes it.
Up close for the details, I stitched the letters and added a flower.
This is a flower I cut out of the paper, stitched on and then added some glitter glue.

Hi Julie,
What a gorgeous notebook, I'm sure Lora will love it and the first one. I'd have made the same mistake.
I briefly said hello at Ally Pally. It was sooooo busy around the Craftwork Cards stall. And the WOJ stall and The Hobby House stall. Still it was an extremely enjoyable if tiring and expensive day lol
Hugs, Pauline x
Dear Julie This is lovely. Kath(my little sis that is-not the scotswoman!) recently gave me some needles for sewing glitter threads on my machine but not had time to play with them yet. Your stitching is so neat and beautiful-fancy making my bedroom curtains?LOL Betty
