So this is what I've made for this wonderful Blog Hog, hope you like it!
I used a circle stencil with WOW! clear ultra slow drying embossing pad and added white pearl embossing powder to create a soft subtle background. I then stamped and embossed the stunning Pretty Pink Posh Flourishing Fuchsia stamps, again using WOW! white pearl embossing powder to give me a beautiful edge to colour up against. Using the co-ordinating Pretty Pink Posh Flourishing Fuchsia dies made light work of cutting the blooms out. I used ink pads to add colour to the blooms and finished with a simple sentiment from Marion's Just Saying stamp set embossed with WOW! silver embossing powder.

Up close to see the details...

I couldn't resist making another card - I just love fuchsia's!
I cut a panel slightly smaller than my 6x6 card blank and used my score board to create the diamond embossed background.  I cut a circle aperture in the sheet and then added to the front of my card blank.  I used a wet paintbrush, dipped in water and splattered across the centre of my card. I then covered the water with silver embossing powder and heated to set it. Can you believe embossing powder sticks to water - yes really! Now I've been stamping 25+ years and I have only just discovered this and it gives the most fantastic results. Give it a try - you'll be amazed!
Again I embossed using white pearl embossing powder and coloured the blooms using ink pads and a water brush.  To finish my card I silver embossed my sentiments onto black card to really give some impact!

I hope you love me cards as much as I do. I know I will be reaching for the stamps, dies and gorgeous embossing powders again very soon to make some more fabulous fuchsia cards. If you want to treat yourself to anything from Pretty Pink Posh head over to their website and if you want some gorgeous embossing powders, head over to WOW! Embossing Powder website - enjoy!

Don't forget to head off to Justine's blog now for more wonderful inspiration!

Happy creating!
Julie
