Inspired by Flower Power week

I so enjoyed making lots of the flowers for Craftwork Card special Flower Power ideas week - it got me thinking.

Some of you will have seen my denim jacket that I had decorated with ribbons, brads, little frames, flowers etc.  Well I thought it was time for a change, so off with all that and I created this

I made myself a template of the petals, working with the Perfect Petal 1 template and making them slightly larger.  I cut out all the flowers and pinned them in place.

I then stitched them in place first, just using straight stitch

 Then I went around and zig zagged around all the petals.

To finish I added a button to the centre

I sprinkled a few buttons here and there around the flowers and have changed the buttons on the front of the jacket to be all different pinks, browns and pearl.

I love it and no one else with have a jackt just like this!  What do you think?
