So busy!

It was so busy at Ally Pally at the weekend, which was great the days flew by. It was lovely to show so many beautiful sample cards off to everyone that the Design Team at Craftwork Cards have been making.

Here are a couple of my cards using the gorgeous 8x8 cards and Candy Cane collection and Joy collection.

Its show time again!

Had a wonderful time in Harrogate for the Great Northern Papercrafts Extravaganza, it was so lovely to see so many avid card makers and papercrafters all enjoying themselves and buying all the latest goodies.

Its such a busy time at the moment, I was away at Sandown Park in Esher last Friday, Saturday and Sunday and this weekend is The Big Stamp & Scrapbooking Show at Ally Pally in North London.

Hope lots of you will be attending and be sure to come and see some amazing samples that lots of wonderful card makers have made using all the new goodies from Craftwork Cards.

There will also be some stunning projects on display that some very clever people have made - a gorgeous wreath made from mini home sweet home and a beautiful advent calendar both made by Mary who is super talented!

Lots of cards from our super talented Design Team, so many different styles of cards, which is great as they are sure to inspire you.

Used my Enchanting Tree stamps to create this card with the Jack Frost papers in white, which I coloured to match my stamping.

This card was inspired by one that Paula Pascual made and everyone admired so I did my version to show how it was made.

Off in the morning!

Sorry for being a bit quiet this week, but have been so busy getting ready for The Great Northern Papercrafts Extravaganza, amongst other things!

Im off in the morning, nice and early, up to Harrogate for the show with Debs. Debs is demonstrating on the Craftwork Cards stand and running some breakfast workshops for us. Its Debs first time of working the show with us and I hope she is ready for it! Its hard work, long hours but great fun and I love it when the doors open and in flood the customers wanting to see what wonderful new goodies we have and what we have created with them.

Here are a few cards that will be on display this weekend.
If you are coming to the show be sure to stop by and say hi, if not have a lovely weekend and I hope the sun shines for you.

Colour- Me Card

Well as promised here is a card that I made using the colour-me ovals showed in todays earlier post.
I have combined them with some of the new Candy Cane papers that are actually a Christmas collection, but they are great any time of year!

Hope you like it!

It does what it says on the tin!

Craftwork Cards have recently designed and produced a fabulous new range called Colour-Me and they do exactly what it says on the tin!

Gorgeous designs ready to be coloured using anything you like, from Copic Markers, glitter gel pens, watercolour pencils, twinkling H2Os, specialist pearl paints - the choice is yours.
They are onto a gorgeous shimmer ice cardstock and they colour beautifully.

Last night whilst watching TV I coloured some ready for them to be turned into cards, this is the butterflies sheet.

This is how the oval shaped ones come, in the following designs: Butterflies, Flowers, Owls & Birds, Baby and Noel. There are also die cut Japanese Dolls, another Owls & Bird set (not die cut but simple designs so easy to cut out) and some Beautiful Butterflies, also die cut, with patterns or wording on. There are 4 sheets per pack for just £3.50 making them excellent value, and of course, the quality is second to none.

Simply colour them, pop them out, add them to your cards and decorate with crystals, glitter glue, buttons, threads and ribbons - the skys the limit.

This is how they can look coloured in with Copic markers:

Come back later and I will post how they look turned into cards!
