Purple Passion

Thank you so much to Kath, Susan, Lucy and Suky for the gorgeous purple card you sent to me - it really is stunning. I love the new 8x8 cards and, of course, you all know how much I love purple. Kath has embossed some core-dinations card and then sanded it - the finish it gives is wonderful.

I also want to thank Rose for the card that you sent me, it was really kind of you and I know it must have taken you ages to make!!

Thank you too for the wonderful emails and comments that people have left on my blog too, it really means alot.

Im off to Sandown Racecourse today to help set up the stand ready for the show Thursday through to Sunday - so if you are coming be sure to come and say hi and see some gorgeous new bits and pieces that we have. We are not in our usual spot, as you come in the entrance turn right, walk towards the cafe and we will be infront of you.
Edit: We are on the back wall Stand P34 so turn right when you come in the main entrance and keep walking then turn left and we are the second stand on the right. Hope to see you there.

WOW!

Its been a cold, wet and dark day at home today. My friend Paula came round to catch up, bought lunch (M&S Lasagne) and as it was warming in the oven the door bell rang. A delivery man handed me a huge black box with Jane Packer written on the side. Is this for me? Yes it was!

Immediately I knew it was flowers and a certain person sprang to mind straight away - my wonderful friend Sue.

Inside the gorgeous box was this huge bouquet of flowers and a bottle of champagne - how lucky am I!

What was the occasion?
Well I got an email yesterday from Crafts Beautiful to say that I have won Best Crafts Beautiful Designer for 2008 in their Crafts Awards.

I am absolutely thrilled to bits to have won and need to thank everyone who took the time out to vote for me - it means so much.

I also have to say a HUGE Thank You to Sue, Rich and all the Craftwork Cards gang for the stunning flowers and bottle of bubbly, it was so kind of you and I appreciate it so much. I feel like a real star!

By the way this is not the news I have been waiting to share with you, that will have to be next week now!

Little Gems!

And I dont mean the lettuce variety!

Have you discovered these gorgeous little cards from Craftwork Cards yet? They are just 96mm square in white ultra smooth superior quality cardstock. They are wonderful to stamp on, but for this card I have just inked around the edges of the card and Simply Saying. Stamped a message onto white festive flowers, edged petals the same as the card. Punch a hole top and bottom of the Simply Saying and then thread with ribbon, tie to secure. Add some crystals and you are done!

Sorry not to have posted for a couple of days I have been busying making cards, but cant share them with you all just yet, will do soon. Im also bursting to tell you some other news but I have to keep quiet for a few more days yet!! Its killing me - I want to share it with you all!

Glittery Circles

These gorgeous glitter circle tags are in Craftwork Cards SALE at the moment - they come in pink, green, blue, mango and lilac, there are 17 different shaped tags on each sheet and cost just 40p! Too good an offer to miss really!

I used the spare card around the edge of the tags to punch some daisies and filled the centres with crystals. The card is from the Back2Basics range - size 6 scallop edge - I love them!

Happy Everything

I love the colour combination of orange and hot pink.

This card is for my good friend Ginette, who is also my photographer for the David & Charles books, who has recently moved house.

One of my favourite old stamps makes the background, the Stampin Up scallop punch and some old prima flowers with crystals in the centres. Really quick and easy.

I love them!

Im so glad I treated myself to these between Christmas and New Year, they have not been off my feet since! They are so warm and cozy and comfortable too, reduced in the sale so even better.

Its been so so cold and we even had snow on Monday this week which is a quite a rarity down South you know! Anyway its meant to warm up a bit at the weekend - hope the sun puts in an appearance too.

Enjoy your weekend.

Gorgeous Card

I received this gorgeous card today from my friend Dawn. She makes the most stunning cards, such alot of work in them and always so beautifully made.
I love how she has cut strips of the striped paper to make the stems and I especially love the Thanks - not sure how she has done that I will have to find out. I also love how she had decorated the daisies with glitter glue and used card candy in the centres.

Dawn obviously loves the Yummy Scrummy papers and Sugar Free Fix as much as I do!
All items available from Craftwork Cards!

Thank you Dawn for the beautiful card.

Yummy Scrummy

I love the new Yummy Scrummy papers from Craftwork Cards - the colour combination is stunning and you know me and daisies (they are dotty too!).

They have also added pink and bronze in circle messages to the range, you can find it all at Sugar Free Fix!

More Christmas Cards

I have been taking the Christmas decorations down this morning and the Christmas cards so thought I should post some more of the lovely cards that I received.

Matt has just left to go to Nottingham for a week on his apprenticeship course - feels very strange without him at home.

Owen is getting ready to go back to school in the morning, not that he wants to get up early or do any work, but never mind.

Its really cold here today, the frost has only just gone and its early afternoon - it will return soon!

I think a good film and some chocolate is in order!

Friends Cards

These are a few more of the Friends cards that I made the other day. All very similar but slightly different.
