The man is a genius!

Valentino Rossi is a genius! He has won the Moto GP Championship again and shown everybody just how amazing he is on a motorbike.

What an amazing race at Motegi, Japan this weekend and even though I have been working at Ally Pally Saturday and Sunday I still had to get up each morning at 05:45am and watch the qualifying and then the race on Sunday - and it was worth it. Sorry to Kim who shared a room with me this weekend - at least I didnt have the sound up too loud or shout too often at the screen.

Well done Vale I knew you would do it and show them all.

This was Valentino's after race show, he is always so good at his stunts. He signed a new contract for his World Championship crash helmet on the side of the track immediately after winning the race. It was quite simply brilliant. Now I cant wait for the last 3 races where you can just go hell for leather and have some fun!

Well done James Toseland too, never having been to the track and still coming 11th was really good, shame you couldnt hold John Hopkins off on the last lap. Off to tracks JT knows now so hopefully he will get some well earned points and finish his first season on a high. Im off to Brans Hatch in a couple of weeks and will see you there!

2 posts in one week - Im spoiling you all!!

Had a great day today, played with some bits getting ready for the weekend at Ally Pally, North London for the Big Stamp and Scrapbooking show. I like this show, its usually busy and people love to see what you are making. If you are going make sure you stop by Craftwork Cards stand to see the gorgeous new bits!

I love making bags with chocolates inside or wraps with chocolate bars inside. This is a new one you actually open the bag at the top where the message is. I created a clasp using velcro. Its also filled with my favourite chocolates - they will be gone by the end of the weekend!
My little Spanish friend, Paula, bought my birthday presents over in the week, now it was my birthday back in July but Paula's presents were worth waiting for!! She bought me the gorgeous scallop punch from SU and the label punch, which I just love. There was also a wonderful stamp set that works with the label punch, ribbon and a beautiful card too.

I had a play for about 30 minutes this afternoon and these are what I made, the photo is not brilliant Im sorry but the little labels are wonderful and would make lovely gifts to give to card making friends.

Enjoy the gorgeous sunshine and have a great weekend. Good luck to Valentino Rossi and James Toseland in the Moto GP this weekend in Japan - I will try and find a tv with Eurosports on it and will be up watching at 5:45am on Sunday before the show!! Go Vale go!

Lovely Weekend

I had a fabulous time at The Great Northern Papercraft Show at Harrogate last weekend. It was a beautiful weekend weather wise - we are usually really lucky with the weather. Lots of people attended the new Breakfast Workshops that we and other exhibitors held and we have had some fabulous feedback about them so Im sure we will hold them again next year.

I had to do a live radio interview for Radio York on the Saturday morning at 8:15am which was a little scary but I did think well at least no one can see me. It went well and a friend heard me as she was pulling into the supermarket to do her shopping. So at least I know one person heard it!!

The show was really busy and it was lovely to show everyone the new products that Craftwork Cards had. Sue has just designed the most stunning papers that are printed in white on either vibrant red, green and bronze or the softest blue, green and white. Take a look here at them they really are gorgeous and so so easy to work with. You get background papers, wording strips and wonderful 9 little design elements to add to your cards. They look fabulous with the white embossed trees added to them and we have also produced embossed stars in silver and gold mirror board (really shinny) or white ready to be coloured.

It was lovely to see so many familar faces and lots of new people to share my ideas and goodies with - hopefully I converted a few more people to love Craftwork Cards products! They are simply the best after all!!

Sunday was another beautiful day and again busy right up to the end of the show. I then had an awful journey home - it usually takes about 5 hours with a stop but no not on Sunday night it took 6 hours and I only stopped for petrol and to grab a quick burger. I have never seen so many cars going in every direction!

We are off to Ally Pally this weekend in London for the Big Stamp and Scrapbook Show so we will see lots more familar faces Im sure, so old friends or new be sure to stop by and see the gorgeous new bits.

Really Busy

I have been really busy getting ready for The Great Northern Papercrafts Extravaganza at Harrogate this weekend. Its a fabulous show in such a great venue, the Great Yorkshire Showground, its really light and airy and there is plenty of room to move around the hall between the exhibitors. It runs from 10am through to 4:30pm Saturday and 10am through to 4pm on Sunday. There are over 40 exhibitors so its great for shopping!! You can buy tickets on the door if you have not already got an advanced ticket. It really is well worth a visit.

I have been busy designing and making my Breakfast workshop cards, lots of sample cards for Craftwork Cards stand and Im waiting for the postman to arrive with another goodie box for me to play with today!!

If you are going to the Show be sure to stop by and say hello and see what Ive been busy making.

I will post more cards next week.

Have a great weekend, I know I will!!
